Primarily developed as a more friable version of RVD for resin bonded tools. However, it also may be used as "general purpose abrasive grain" in other types of bonding. It is characterized by a very controlled fracture behavior of single crystals in the micro range. Especially designed for requirements with very tight tolerances, we recommend this material for machining of carbide, cermet and ceramics, but also for the use of new developed materials.
