PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond)
Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) is a synthetically produced, extremely solid, coalesced mass of Diamond particles. It is produced by carefully selected micron powder, getting sintered at very high temperatures and ultra-high pressures.
PCD discs
PCD discs are produced in various diameters and grades. We also offer our discs in different thicknesses. The Diamond layer is conventionally 0.5mm (+/- 0.1mm). But we also supply PCD discs with a Diamond layer of 1.0mm.

Blanks
PCD blanks must be cut by eroding or laser systems into the desired dimension. For most cutting tools there are standardized dimensions we either have ready in stock or can be supplied within a very short time (cutting service).
Our cut blanks are available in various grades and shapes. Grain sizes of 2μm, 10μm or 25μm are the standard program. In addition, there are further special grades for particular applications.
The blanks are supplied as standard in thicknesses of 1.0, 1.2, 1.6, 2.0 and 3.2 mm.
